Up for your consideration is a great piece of WWI and WWII history. This canteen cup was made by the L.F. & C. Company in 1918, however, it saw use during WWII and has been etched with names and information across every surface of the cup by the veteran who used it during WWII.
On the bottom: Blood & Fire Div. / Faller 35701857/ U.S. L.F. & C. 1918
Left side: Herman/Eunice and a heart with an arrow through it.
Front side: Landing in France Jan 14-45/ Was in Germany Feb 17-45/ Skull with X
Back side: Back to USA?
Along bottom edge: Kentucky
Now how cool is that? Wonder who Herman Faller was and if he married Eunice.
