As an custom rod builder and Alutecnos dealer, I've been very impressed with the Alutecnos removable aluminum butts. We've had several of our rod building customers purchase sets of roller guides and butts from us .. they tell me they don't see them advertised anywhere ... so i though I'd put a few on EBay The Alutecnos aluminum butts come in a variety of sizes and lengths .. The butts in this ad are the 30-50lb short courved butts . the auticon is for one butt .. your choice of colors the 30-50 lb butt comes in a straight regular .. 19.92 inches straight short .... 17.71 inches straight ultra short ...... 16.85 inches regular curved ....... 27.77 inches short curved ............18.89 inches There is also a true 80 lb short butt and a true 80 lb short bent butt .. these butts take a true 80 lb ferrule .. so you can build a rod that will actually hold a 80W reel ... these are a couple of items I've just not seen .. The colors these terrific butts come are great .. the black and gold butt has pale gold nuts and hoods .. a good match for the Shimano Tisgra .. the black and silver has silver hoods and nuts .. all very sweet .. write for pricing on the other available size butts I have some stock on these items .. however until i can increase my on hand there may be a short wait for these items here is the Alutecnos info for these butts
They are entirely made through CNC machining out of a particular aluminium alloy employed in the naval sector and which makes them very resistant.
