The photos are available for the great hammerhead shark that was caught off Boca Grande last month. Researchers have said that most of the pups were fully developed and would have been born in a few days, give or take.
While, this is a sad event and the photos are tough to view, scientists are viewing this as not such a bad discovery and are very grateful the shark was donated to science for research.
However, researchers are asking that in the future giant female sharks should be released.
