Pearson - Sunderland Cruiser: Grumman 34 Sunderland Cruiser
I purchased this motoryacht in 2005. It had a mechanical refit in 2000 replacing the 426 Chrysler Hemis with fresh 440s. It also had new hull LP paint. I installed fuel flow meters and added GPS. It is equipped with two four blade 22" props. 1100 RPM delivers an honest 8 knots with a total fuel burn of only 3 GPH. The wide body, 12'9" gives wide walk arounds with plenty of interior room. The master SR and head w/dressing area are in the forward flushdeck with full beam. The down east sedan with flybridge look is now back in vogue and she looks much newer than a 1967 which is the year she was built in Bristol, RI. Only five were built before Grumman ceased production. Ironically, a sistership is moored at Whidbey Island only 15 miles from my vessel. Heavily built, high quality components, and can top 20 knots at WOT.
