Mainship - Mainship Nantucket Sedan: Mainship 36 Nantucket Sedan Our's is a 1988, T 270 Crusaders. We've owned her for three years. Great boat we use it at least 26, 3 - 5 day weekends each summer. Great boat for the two of us. We have had as many as twenty people on board for dinner. The previous owner maintained the boat in perfect condition. We have added a number of improvements. The only thing we didn't like was the lack of easy access storage. There is more than adequate storage on the boat I just made it easier to get at. The only boat I like better is the 42 Sabre. If you find a good one they are easy to maintain. Reviewed by Carl Bltz on Nov-24-2008 | Rating: |
Mainship - Mainship Grand Salon: our little cruise ship This is my first Mainship and I am very impressed with the amount of space they fit into a 41' hull. The overall look was what won us over...but the space inside clinched the deal. We entertain and with seating for 9 on the flybridge and many more in the large open salon, its just the ticket. The moulded in steps to the flybridge were nice for some of our 'less mobile' guests. I do miss the lower helm and the side walk ways are a bit narrow. Here is an affordable boat with the styling of many new offerings and the quality of a Mainship. BRAVO! Reviewed by Bob on Jun-24-2008 | Rating: |
Mainship - Mainship Nantucket Sedan: manship 36 sedan I have one and I love it. You will not find a better value for the money. It has more interior room than most 40ft boats. Often times, everyone in the family ends up congregating on my boat instead of their own.
It is also economic when run at lower speeds.
I may be jaded as I am coming from a Bayliner, but I'm glad to have settled on this make and model.
Other than normal wear and tear issues, I've not had any problems with the boat. There is one soft spot on the cockpit deck likely from where the flybridge ladder should have been rebedded but wasn't. I plan to repair that this year.
In my opinion, you can't go wrong with this boat as long as it hasn't been abused.
