Hurricane John, which is currently hitting the Mexican coastline, has had a large negative affect on both tourism and fishing in the area. The hurricane, which was recently reduced to category 3, has caused all fishermen and tourists in the area to flee to get themselves away from the wrath of the storm. As a result, there have been very few, if any boats on the ocean fishing.
Many of the areas arte completely deserted and trashed, as was the case with Hurricane Katrina which devastated the New Orleans area.. Fortunately, Hurricane John is nowhere as severe has Hurricane Katrina.
If you are planning on going fishing in Mexico anytime soon, you may want to reconsider.
