This sucks. I had a prior engagement that was canceled, and I was thinking of entering the Challenge. Not anymore.

I hope this thing doesn't ruin anything or anyone.

Tropical Depression # 16 is really pissing on our parade.
Sunday Oct. 28, 2007, 10:00 a.m.The National Hurricane Center released Advisory 2A announcing TD #16. The forecast cone for this weather system puts it in our area or close enough to our area to cause concern. For the safety of our anglers we have decided to push back the tournament 1 week to Nov 8-11.
There is some good news:
- Post-storm fishing is typically excellent
- Now we'll have time to go Trick-or-Treating with our kids on Wednesday
- We'll have fully recovered from a long FTL Boat Show
- With much better weather expected next week, more teams will participate and drive the calcuttas up

Rest assured that we will continue our professional tournament management and make the best decisions for all:
- I will personally call each team to inform them of the decision
- Any team requesting a refund will have one immediately

Of course, I would rather have great weather, but thankfully we have enough lead-time to make the right decisions. If anyone has any questions, please call me directly on my cell phone: 305-206-8252.

So far each team I spoke with are 100% OK with the following week. This may be a blessing in disguise as more teams will be able to fish.

I am not sure which team member you are, but I called and left a message on Gegory's number this morning.

Glad to see you guys are ready. Every team I spoke to this morning is still in so I think it's going to be a blessing in disguise (more teams to compete and more calcutta $$)

Well, Noel's gone - back to Wahoo fishing!!

How did you boys do in Nassau? The track looks like it went right over you... hope everything is okay.

I checked the online bahamian newspapers but the most current I could find was Oct 31. Today is Nov 2nd...

I was wondering the same thing. How'd you guys do over in Nassau?

It's funny how weather-centric we are. 2 days ago, no one called or emailed me about anything. Today I have had 3 phone calls and 4 emails about the entry form for the Wahoo! And it's only 9:30 am.

This cold front should really help push fish south and also clear out the weather for the next week.

See everyone there!!

Tony

Shirts and bags look GREAT! Sorry for the crappy cell-phone pictures. When am I going to learn to keep a camera in the office?
