Yes Prudent conservation is correct. I did not go and catch 30 wahoo, I caught 7, 7 wahoo over an 8 hour period. So tell me Beast, what would you like for me to do, catch one or two and tell my charter thats all we will catch for today?

No one else skewed my comments like you did. Guess that just the character of the Author.

Isn't that what you want us to do? Come over with pockets full of money and quit fishing after a few short hours each day? That is sound reasoning because then we will have more time to spend more money. Gotcha.

Only thing I said in this thread was

You are the one who rubbed our nose in it with your dancing Bahama banana. Truthfully I wouldn't say a word about it if it was done similar to us with more fairness. We don't have a seperate set of rules for non-citizens. Our rules include ALL who fish, no preferencial treatment to anyone. Not sure how imposing rediculous limits on non-citizens while doing nothing towards the multitude of citizens, will increase your stocks viability.

Whatever Bro, catch 'em ALL up! Is that better?

Im sure thats what they were thinking, golly you just won the prize
No matter what anyone says you have your mind made up. I wonder why there is no special limits for foreign vessels, perhaps it is because no one wants to come there to fish, when the fishing back home is so much better?

Hell 6 20lb hoos is plenty of meat! or 6 20lb dolphin. You just have to pick out the bigger fish, and not fill the cooler with 6-8lb schoolies. The Average dolphin from Chub to the 20 deg-180deg is 15lb, with lots of 20s and big bulls, so getting 6 qualtity fish in a day is just fine in my books. You dont have to stop fishing when you reach your limit, you just have to stop keeping.

Good luck with your Keys charters, soon there wont be anyfish left there

The Keys suck... Beast, when was the last time you caught 7 wahoo in the keys. When was the last time you saw 3 blue marlin in your spread at one time? Save your money and stay home!

Nice catch CaptAdamr... keep the posts coming. Any word on the Pocket? We're looking to fish Matinella soon.

Pretty work Captadamr, keep the reports coming.

Beast,

WTF? Do you have anything positive to say lately?
Do us all a favor. If you do not have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.

Funny thing is Beast, I have had Two different sets of clients going to your neck of the woods for the holidays. They were both looking for two days of fishing. I am sure you have thought out the repercussions of your negative attitude on the www. Why don't you tell us how bad a$$ your boat is tied up to the dock. That is where I hear it is most of the time.

You're right! My bad azz boat is sitting at the dock a lot more than I would like this year but it isn't from my opinions on a forum. Not to worry, I have good bottom paint on her. With todays economy, if you open your eyes you will see a lot more than my boat sitting at the dock. Many charter/guides are struggling as well. Some hide it for fear of people like you that equate that with fishing abilities. Some find friends to fish with them to give an appearance of being booked. In almost 20 years of being in this business I have come to realize that it goes up & down constantly in direct proportion to the economy. This is why many of us have other income. If you think my business comes from internet forums you are living in a fantasy world. Every forum has their select few guides they recommend and it usually isn't because they ever fished with them but simply heresay. You guys have your select 3 on this forum that are always recommended. Dean, Carey and Joe. Even a blind man can see this. Matter of fact, I sent one of my customers to Dean for a Sword charter as well when I was booked on the requested weekend. My location is inconvenient to those who vacation in Miami Beach and north. Most of my business is from people who look directly for a fishing charter and not a vacation. I have a good base of repeat customers who know me and like me, my boat, and my fishing skills. What any of this has to do with opinions on fishing issues, I haven't a clue. I have over 2000 running hours on a boat that has been in service just 3 years. I guess it gets some use.

What is funny is that when I was opinionated about the LL's returning to the area and butting heads with BB-Pro, that was OK. Now, when I give my opinion on the latest law change in the Bahamas, I'm a schmuck.

I'm sorry that I don't meet up to your forum standards with locker room high fives and butt slapping, over fish catches, etc. I am sitting here, now, wondering why I am justifying myself to you!?! That is a good question?

Not trying to offend. This forum was supposed to be locker talk. Its supposed to benefit everyone from Maine to the Carribbean. From trophy catches to laws to information on whats working in a different areas. Opinions are like a$$holes, and I'm pretty big in that category. Obviously.
We are all after the same thing. Lets just remember that. You for your livelyhood, and me for spending my kids college fund.
I guarantee I have spent more time reviving marlin than I have fighting them... There is nothing better than seeing a fish light up again and swim off... My personal opinion.

No need to ramble. I am not worried about your boat, I am glad to here you mantain it. I have many friends that are guides and charter boat captains and you are correct it is slow but, have you ever heard the expression "Attitude makes the difference".
I do not know where your bussiness comes from and never assumed it was the internet. I did notice you have a link on here so, I guess you think it might not hurt to advertise here.
As far as charters I recommend those who are safe, have good equipment, are good at catching fish and have a good attitude. From what you tell us you have three of the four

What is funny is that when I was opinionated about the LL's returning to the area and butting heads with BB-Pro, that was OK. Now, when I give my opinion on the latest law change in the Bahamas, I'm a schmuck.

Being an Ex LL'er myself, I think you can appreciate the fact I did not give you my opinion on those threads .

I'm sorry that I don't meet up to your forum standards with locker room high fives and butt slapping, over fish catches, etc. I am sitting here, now, wondering why I am justifying myself to you!?! That is a good question?

I do not have forum standards. I do not think you see me high fiving anyone, I think you see me giving info on what I did and how and where I did It. Although you might see me congratulating others. You should try it sometime. I spoke up when you decided to attack a fellow charter captain because of where he is from.

I do not think you are trying to justify yourself to me. I think you are trying to justify yourself to you.

Warrior,

I am from the East End of Long Island. Tuna fishing was hot and cold all summer and fall.
