What happened was so wrong. There's never been an apology. They haven't even admitted to any mistake. Change of heart maybe, I miss the tournament. Change of principal, never. If someone chartered me I may show up again. But for my money in a Calcutta? I want a committee that will enforce their rules.

Hey, are you going to Hawks Nest again this year? I'm planning on fishing that tournament too. It's right at the end of January.

Cloud Nine,

I know what you mean. I have still not seen a set of rules that did not state that "Preliminary Outline of Rules of the Tournament". Cannot underdtand that we have completed the first leg without an offical set of rules.

Guess they could not figure out which rule would/could be broken to ensure a win.

Very Sad.

Well I know I am not on the top of there list. We thru a party and barBQ at the house on Friday night of the tournament. No one from the committee showed up. I was told it was a politcal decsion. Such BULLSHIT!

Anyway I did not do it for them.

What are the dates for Hawks Nest. I would like to go but my schedual is filling up. Jan 10-13 in Treasure, then Jan 18-21 in West End. Let me know.

John

Hawks Nest is January 28 through 31. The actual tournament is inside these dates - I may have marked a day on each side for travel. However, its a long way away, I'd like to get there a little early because I haven't had the pleasure of fishing down there. I'll probably extend a few days after as well.

My favorite rule from the BWC is: "It is strongly advised that all GPS records of the days fishing be kept and not erased until the day's results have been declared official." What the hell does that mean??? Now there is a rule with no teeth whatsoever...

I'm sorry I missed your BBQ party - I bet it was a GREAT time!!
