Default live baiting for wahoo ?

I recently have been catching dozens of large speedos and I was curious if I setup a spread of live ones would they produce wahoo and how deep should I start the drift this time of year ? Around this time last year we put three 50# fish in the boat off the lakewoth pier in three consecutive trips, Each day we caught one all on dead sardines, 2 in 210 feet and 1 in 43 feet of water. I would appreciate any advice in where and how deep I can start my spread.
GOod fishing,

Default Speedos

Live Speedos are great bait for wahoo! I would slow troll them while zig zagging the dropoff. Fish two way back and 2 deep with downriggers or cigar weights. Stagger the depths of the deep baits between 20 and 60 feet if possible.

Good luck!

I agree with FlCapt. You want to bump in and out of gear just like you're fishing live baits for kings. We usually gun for 2 knots on kings...just enough to keep the baits from tangling each other, but not too much that you drag them to death.

:stup Thats good advice. Do yourself a favor and add a stinger to the rig.
Hoo's are notorious cut off banditos. Gogs, Runners, and tinkers will work well for you too.
GOOD LUCK,
