Default E$ Wahoo report

The summer bite was OK, but not red-hot like last summer.
Still we have been picking at some nice fish from 35-60lbs.

Had the pleasure of fishing w "The Magician" and we boated a 60lb class fish that bit our buddy & gave him 22 stictches.

Below are some recent pics of nice fish we caught.

PS: I offer guided trips for wahoo or swordfish on your vessel.
(Not a licensed captain, or looking to comepete w them.)
I help folks catch BIG fish in their boat P/T to support my fishing habit.

That second one must have been a little green when he went into the box. Take a look at his tail

Do your clients get a kick out of the wahoo worm in the stomach like mine always did?

Yes, the little purple parasite(s) found in every one.
Kind of creepy.

Nice fish! i almost got bit by mine too. mine fought kinda weird. it took one long run when i first got the rod, then it just let me reel it in. but when the gaff struck him he was pissed. he flipped off the gaff and my buddy gaffed him a second time in the tail in mid air. we might not have got him if he made it back into the water. i didnt notice any purple worms in his stomach but he did have 2 small bonita or skip jack in his stomach. he ended up weighing 46lbs.

Every single wahoo you catch will have a fat purple worm in its stomach. Some have more than one. The word I heard is that it's not a parasite at all, but a symbiant--that is, that the wahoo needs that little critter to survive, and that little critter needs the wahoo to survive.
