Default Bahamas wahoo heating up

Left at 8am this morning for a charter, had a fresh rising tide with a 12kt wind blowing down the edge. First 25lb wahoo came off a triple, lost the other two fish. Had a few more knockdowns but no hookups. Turned around and started fishing the edge back home and had another triple knockdown with 2 fish on. Lost one and the other fish had us well into the braid on the Avet30. Finally managed to get a fat 55-60lb fish. Didn't weigh the whole fish but got 44lb of fillet of it. Sure am glad they started showing up.
Forgot the cam on the boat, will upload tommorow.

It slowed down for 2 days and then picked up yesterday, got a 30lb hoo and a 15lb king. I am in Miami now, left the camera on the boat, will have to upload the pics when I get back. Hopefully the seas will be calmer next week after the front passes and the wahoo snapping.

Took our staff fishing yesterday, been a slow month business-wise so I decided to treat them to it. Left at 7:30 and trolled east towards Eleuthera. Cut a long story short, we lost a 35-40lb hoo, and got 3 others in the boat, a 20, 35 and 70ish fish. The one that was 70 we had to fillet while we were bottom fishing, as it wouldnt fit in the cooler. Each fillet weighed 25lb and it was a nice fat fish. We took the 28bert so the camera was left on the hatteras.....
This season is looking promising..

Took my mate and crew off my dads boat out today for a few hours. Managed 8 for 10 on wahoo, 2 mahi and 6 cudas. The biggest wahoo was 56lb on digital scale. My mate is holding it again.....The best action was after the tide change to falling tide. North wind blowing directly onto the edge, 8kts all ballyhoo spread
