Default great weekend

Hey all, its been a long time since I last posted here but I do continue read up on everything.
We had such a great weekend I could not resist sharing it with everyone.
It was the 6th RJYC/Globe fishing tournament out of the Royal Jamaica Yacht Club in Kingston, Jamaica.
We fished March 14th and 15th in great weather conditions and the wahoo bite was red hot.
Friday we caught 18wahoo and one YFT. Our biggest fish that day was 69lbs and ended up being the big fish of the tournament
Saturday we got a decent bite and closed the day with 9 wahoo. These fish were bigger on the average than the previous day, some decent 30 and 40lbd'ers.
For the two days we ended up with 833lbs of fish and took top boat and biggest wahoo.
I know, where are the pics? Well I forgot my camera and can only provide pics of the prize giving with the crew collecting the check and me getting the big fish prize.
All in all a great weekend spent at a bank 70miles from Kingston, big raft up behind the islands, somre great food, good rum and better friends.

thanks all, dont get too excited about the $150K. Them are jamaican $'s In real money terms(green backs) around 2,500. Heck it will hardly cover tournament expenses. More bragging rights than anything else.

Default Congratulations, Jerry

Hey Jerry,

Glad to see you got out fishing in between all the windy days. Wow, you loaded up the boat with Wahoo.

Wahoo! I just love it when you can fool them with Jamaican dollars: Ya Mon.

Now, if it were only a cool million: that would be hot, hot, hot.

P.S. - We fished one day with the falling tide last weekend between Memory and Matanilla, H.S. for Wahoo and 0 to report. And to think that the fish are moving North.
