Haulover North Miami Report

Headed out early today and the bait guys were completely out of bait.

Luckily just outside Haulover inlet the x-large herring where boiling thick and we we brought in about 3 dozen in quick time..

Headed out to the edge and didnt get a bit for quite some time as the current was dead.

Got to about 450 feet and found a nice north current

About 5 minutes later our deep line got nailed, but didnt stick. Shortly after the flat line got it.. and we were on.

Fought this guy for about 15 minutes

Headed in shallow and picked up a sailfish on the deep line, but was only on for a minute or so.

Had a bonita and kingfish also.

overall VERY slow morning and action picked up a bit after 11am...

headed in to be poured on and made for easy wash of boat...
