Default tis the season

Seems like weeks since I have found time to make any posts here..tis the season...recap..sailfish, white marlin, bluemarlin, yellowfin, blackfin, amberjack, grouper, snapper, wahoo and dolphin..the list reads right out of a Louisiana saltwater fish ID book and it has been the norm lately..finally found a consistent yellowfin bite this week and one of each billfish caught by the Hollenbach family earlier in the week..bluewater has been close and up until this week filled with acres of scattered grass..almost too difficult to troll..no rips early in the week but go figure..as soon as we shift gears to tuna fishing, it amassed to form a 10 of a rip from 143 to 989 yesterday..Sonny pulled on it and had 2 massive dolphin by the time I passed him on my way home from a successful 2 boat overnight tuna trip..we had 9 yellowfins, 4 dolphin and 2 wahoo on my baot..I had te MS contigent of Thompson Engineering while Scott L. had the Alabama field office on the cabo ..he had 6 yellows, 5 wahoo 2 dolphin and 10 healthy blackfin..Lance took the top boat honors this week with a dozen or so yellows (maybe 15) from his trip to Green Canyon with the Floyd party..they also had bottomfish..didnt get the whole report just a thank you mesage on my cell from Joe..my favorite fishthis week was a 55 pound dolphin caught on spinning tackle by Alison Hollenbach on Monday...I will try and post all the highlight pics from this week on my website and individual reports for each day as well...Gwen H has some great print film of the bluemarlin jumping next to the boat from Tuesday's trip, when I get it I will ppst it here..bandwidth and cell coverage has been a scare commodity in Venice fgor us cingular subs..apologize to those who have had to wait for answers, hopeflly we can get a landline restored at the boatslip..Paradise Outfitters 888-FISHWUS - 888-347-4987..[img]http://www.paradise-outfitters.com/images/2006_06_05dolphin.jpg
