Default Late May report -PARADISE OUTFITTERS

Seems I get a few days off about every two weeks..lots happening since last installment..website has individual reports and pics if interested in the who's who..the Cabo and Albemalre are now tied at two billfish a piece..I got my first white in bluegreen water last week and a blue followed three days later..this sandwiched in between two mac daddy yellowfin bites on the rip on big fish baits fished 20 yards off the transom..both fish we hoped were marlin but turned into 130-150 pound yellowfins..the rips have also been yielding small wahoo and bull dolphin and it is expected to get better as more peanut dolphin and hardtails congregate there each day..we have had our share of bulls and wahoo with at least 2 of each last 5 trolling trips..Scott L and Britton each have a billfish release from last week..lots of fun getting them to jump..one of mine did but both of thiers got air..I am told there is video..Capt. Sonny has been building his confidence wearing out my secret bottom spots on the west side.. he has pulled some serious sows off them as well as the occasional warsaw grouper.. I may go try and see what he left off one of them in the morning I have been fishing on the east side where we have yat to miss the boat limit this season..the daytime tuna bite has slacked in terms of size and numbers aside from the surprise bites on the rip the fat blacKfins and barely legal yellows at the floaters just off the shelf have been the take..Sonny had a 90 pounder last Tuesday but it was an anomoly considering all the other boats trying..incidentally, those big tuna had a belly full of 4" blue crabs - I may run one off the kite just to see if the opportunity presents itself..while we were fighting both of them I could see alot of returns on the sounder ..blue crab..the next secret live bait..you watch..We had 3 boats go out overnight this past weekend..they had anywhere from 5-9 yellowfins (40-60 pounds) a few dolphin or wahoo and assorted bottomfish....bluewater is close and the rip is hot who would want to go anywhere else... I hope I see alot of trolling this week..its onin Venice!! Paradise Outfitters - 1-888-FISHWUS (888-347-4987) ..
