Wife did the first 2 hours, i did the last 1 1/2 hours. all stand up on a 50wide Avet!! The last hour plus had 37 pounds of drag AND was 'palming' the spool trying to get the fishes head to come up from 100 ft. Total brutality, and i caught a 400# black marlin that morning also on standup. The next day both she and i moved like we were 200 years old but you couldn't have wiped the smile off our faces with sandpaper!!! Tom

Slobbage
Any info on the charter boat and captain would be appreciated....as Puerto Vallarta just moved up my list of future destinations for beer drinking.

Boat was a 33' blackfin named 'Pacifico', with Capt Manny. Top notch tackle and crew.

I don't think manny would appreciate you calling him danny osuna. The website is Pacificosportfishing.com i think. His name is Manny Ocaranza and its a 33' blackfin. Danny has a 32' blackfin, they fish the same area but, no, i'm sure it was Manny-go to bloodydecks website and you'll see both guys are on there. Hey, where is ocean ridge, fl?
