OU - Bluefin Dresses 692 Pounds!

Our boys put a nice one in the boat today. After a 2 hour epic battle on a Penn 80, and a fish that put them through their paces, they finally got a gaff in her and the battle was won. Not sure exactly what it weighed, but it dresseed 692# and measured 110 inches, with a 79 inch girth...formula puts it right around 800 pounds.

very nice. never managed to get myself a big BFT this year off of cape cod. good work and nice fish!

caught it out of Hyanis, just above the"figs" in about 65 fathoms.
