Default Blue Dragon Charters TUNA

We pushed out at 500 from taylors face first into a thick 40 mile of fog. Right at the hot dog the fog lifted and we were able to pick up the pace a little bit. Right shy of the cigar we get our first supprise of the day, a 7 ft mako free jumping 500 yds away. We put a hasty troll around the area with some bluefish strips but nothing so we picked back up and ran to the break and the firs small batch of weeds. 10 min into the troll a BIG blue one greyhounds through the weedline but after a few circles she never came to us. we seen a longline bouys and pulled 2 gaffers off of that and then went on to find a few balls of bait and the two tones. We drilled a hole in the water for a bit till it hit the fan the first was the flat that got picked and the tuna stayed on the surface then the shot then the two longs then we were back down to two so we stuck the two a 40 and a 55 lb yellow fin and pointed west to do run and gun on some of the crusing shrks on the way in

Not a great day but a decent one with a great crew

Capt Mike
