I just talked to the guy at Blue Marlin Cove. He has seven units available the weekend of April 12 thru whenever. He said that if we get a group together he will give us a special dea. Lets get this figured out and make the reservation.

Here are some of the amenities avail at BMC,

2 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms. 4 person per room max
Game room
Lounge with Wireless Internet
27 x 50 swimming pool - 4' to 7' deep with spa.
Private Marina two minutes to the ocean.
Port of Entry less than 3 miles away.
Water depths over 1,000 feet just over a mile offshore of the Marina or bonefishing 5 miles away.
max boat sizes allowed up to 40'

Commercial ice house. (unlimited free ice)
free dinner friday night and saturday night. (Shannon said she could cook our catch as well as nights other than fri-sat for a small fee)

no deposit required to reserve room... must have 2 days notice to cancel due to foul weather or other reasons. cash or visa/master/amex due at checkin. Call Shannon or Marvin @ 242-349-4101

NOTE: unleaded is running $4.50 a gal right now over there.

I would suggest to anyone going to make your reservations quickly. Its free to reserve one and if destination or plans change between now and then, then no worries with cancelling. Shannon says the availability is runnin out so get yours while the gettins good.

Mine is made for that weekend as well. It looks like we will be making the crossing in the early am to take advantage of the, hopefully, lesser seas and to maybe get us some Friday fishing time. It also looks like my two best mates are guiding turkey and hog hunting that weekend, so my boat has an open slot or two. Anyone needin a ride and a bed, drop me a pm. This is shaping up to be a great trip. I will be offering up a couple of last years tuna loins to the wind gods... lets hope they like Maui Poki Tuni.

Unhappy Surgery Interuptus

Gents,
Looks like I have to bail out on this trip. That sucks cuz this is building up to be a hellova fun weekend.
Unfortunately , I have rotator cuff surgery scheduled for April 10th. You can't gaff fatty tooners with your wing in a sling.
I will be in Lucaya the week before your assault on the Blue Marlin Club. I hope to have a good report for you all work from.

That sucks. My Father in law had it done about 2 1/2 months ago.

Hopefully you will get them the weekend before.
