Default Recapture report for Jurassic Drift

During the Jurrasic Drift Tourney my Daughter tagged some fish, I just recieved a recapture report from one of her fish. They also sent a couple of nice ball caps with the tagging logo on them.

Eric
If you see this I want to say thanks from myself and my Daughter.

Way to go.

If you don't mind me asking, how far did the fish travel?

19 days later grew 5 inches

Is that even possible? I know Dolphin grow fast but didn't realize Swordies were fast growing as well.

Either way... pretty cool to tag a fish and then have someone else catch it.

When tagging a fish it is a best estimate of the size, the few fish I have been a part in tagging have not come out of the water for a exact measurement so Kenny could have been off by a few fish still was tagged and killed later so what does it matter now

Ken... Did the second guy kill the fish, or re-release it?

near the 48 line at about the same latitude?? cheers, arthur
Not sure what you mean exactly by that statement.
this is the numbers on the sheet
26.06-79.87 me @ 40 in
26.05_79.81 him @ 45 in

This where I think it was 26.06-79.51.87 with the 51 missing from the sheet.
where you came up with 54 and 48 I cant imagine
and also it dosent say, but at 45 inches by the second guy, I would asume he turned it loose also, again, dosent say if he tagged it again, just let it swim or what.
I can say that we measured it the best we could in the water, may be some error by either one of us.
5 inches in less than a month may be a little off base but I cant ever remember opening ones stomach up and finding it empty.
All I can say for the naysayes is that we did the best that we could on our part and will continue. Anything to help a buoy guy feed the masses.

Capt Ken The bouy guys appreciate your help with feeding the masses. Some people are just jealous that other people are catching swords and some are just catching REMORAS. It is funny how all of a sudden some people just seem to be an expert on catching swordfish.
