REMINDER for our next club Meeting.
Wednesday Nov 14, 2007 at 7 pm We will be discussing: THE SWORDFISH REVITALIZATION PLAN THAT WAS JUST DISCUSSED IN WASHINGTON DC AND THE RESULTS OF OUR SUNBURNED SWORDFISH TOURNAMENT. As you have seen on this website that the recommendations that were put forth in DC are very real and "all fishermen" are concerned. We are expecting a large turnout so get there early to get your seat. This will be an open meeting and no charge to guests. REMINDER Calendar for our next club Meeting. Wednesday Nov 14, 2007 at 7 pm at the Lighthouse Point Yacht and Racquet Club (LHPYRC). 2701 NE 42nd Street Lighthouse Point, FL 33064 Phone: 954-942-7244 They have a great meeting room, a full bar and free parking! Please note: There will NOT be a club tournament in October. We will try to do this in November or December. My Apologies. Please report all your fish to the NMFS or to our website. (Not both) Sincerely, RJ Boyle and Skip Smith Swordfish Club Southeast Swordfish Club - Swordfishing WARNING: If the weather is nice and the fishing is good, any meeting could be cancelled, due to lack of attendance and lack of interest. |

It is very important for all that can to come to this meeting.I will be there for sure.Like Skip said get there early to get a seat.
I am asking all forum members especially those that are not already club members to attend.Come and meet as many people as you can.Have a drink listen to what is going on with our fishery. Then tell some fish stories with some new friends.Maybe Skip can tell an old fish tale for us.

Good post Eric:
Open Door to all non-Swordfish Club members and this one is FREE. It does not get any better than this. Or maybe you could win a raffle prize too? Skip usually mentions this, but there is also a pasta bar and you can have your pasta dish prepared any way you like from the chef, if you don't have time before and want to eat there. You do have to pay for that separately. The other thing that you may want to know: at the end of the meetings, Skip and Bobby will give away quite a few raffle prizes. They are usually nice items: Wind-on leaders, cyalumes, lures, misc. stuff and typically a fairly nice final prize. Tickets are $5 per ticket, maybe they will do 5 for $20, like last meeting, or not. I have won a 3000 yd. spool of Momoi Diamond 80# before. And the time before last they did a Shimano Thunnus 16000, last time a Shimano Rod/reel spinner combo. So some pretty cool stuff is divvied out. So you may as well bring some beer money and some splash money if you want a chance at those cool raffle prizes. Let's all meet together to talk about some very important matters, have a great time along with a few good fish stories, and we can do a little bit of respect building, all at the same time, among our fishing brethren. Maybe end up meeting a new swordfishing buddy while you're at it: one that knows how to catch swordfish well. Respect Mon. Now where did I leave that Red Stripe.

Sure, you do my seawall, pro bono, and I would certainly consider doing an open bar at the Swordfish club meeting....
In the meantime, the loose change is going into the kittie, for the wall repair. Or maybe one day, the yacht fund.... but only after the kids are out of school and college. Unless I get real lucky on some RiskTaker ventures before then. ![]() Hey, By the way, the meeting is tomorrow night. Let's hope for a great turnout even if you have to buy your own.

After most clear out, then the real good stuff starts. RJ, Skip and Ron put on tiny red thongs and do table tops all the time singing "I wanna be a PLL, how bout you". Dude you gotta get in this Club! PS, Heard Bouncer was bringing his thong to the next meeting
