Capt Ken, Did you pull a LS and almost lose a 3500.00 dollar Kristal rod and reel? I did not know that you could gaff a fish that big with such a little gaff.

Default Here's the story in the Swordfishing reports section

Here's the story in the Swordfishing reports section:

Hailey Ryan 1 for 1, Thursday, Day September 27 Swordfish Report

Sorry for the belated post but I had to catch up on a bit of work at the "other " day job, if you know what I mean. I am allowed to skip out for swordfishing every now and then under the condition that I bring some fish to share into the office. But I still have to get the work done. Arrgh, gotta getter done.

tal-jen from what i heard the fish was at the boat before the dart was even rigged then while they were trying to gaff the fish with a snapper gaff it went balistic an tore one of the guides off the pole an almost sent one of those fancy deep drop reals to visit my gold that ken an davie sent to the bottom.while kenny was trying to save the reel the fish tried to take kennys arm off you would think after swordfishin for 30 years stufff like this wouldnt keep happening to ken. P.S. DONT CUT MY POWER OFF KEN

Default What gossip forum do you get your stories from?

Lightining Stryker:

What gossip forum do you get your stories from? Oh nevermind, you have friends that are fishermen.

Actually, as I recall it. The dart was at the ready and it was sunk-in first, then it was followed through with the "snapper" gaff. I know this because I sunk the gaff next.

Anyway, it makes for a good fish story no matter how many ways you wish to spin it.
