Default why it increasingly difficult to catch the fish?

In recent years, fishing enthusiasts found it increasingly difficult to catch the fish, what cause these situation ?
In my opinion, there are two reasons ascribe to that . First, overfishing result in reduced fish resources;
Second, the fish may become increasingly "smart" , because after several fishing, the survived fish possess more self-protection awareness. so it seam to more and more difficult to catch the fish.
above ,just my opinion, appreciate any other views .

Difficult? I've caught more fish this summer than i did all of 05 and 06 and winter/spring of this year. I've caught more 80+" fish(on rod and reel)in the past 4 weeks then I have in the 2 1/2 years I been doing it.
Seems like fishing is getting better too me?

The fishing goes in cycles.....Some fisheries in our area are the best they have been in years. I hear this sob from headboat customers all the time. Why aren't we catching any fish?? The fish aren't here, we should move, does this Capt. guy know what he is doin? I ask them if they play/played sports?? Were they extremely skilled and succesful as beginners???? No well then fishing might take some time, effort, and skill development too. Certain techniques may take years to master, and the cats that grind it out everyday will always be more in tune w/ the ocean, and therefore da fish.
Quit bitchin, and go fishin. If your not catching pay attention to the conditions, never know you may see a pattern or two that may help you out.

Hell, anybody that isn't jealous of his summer just ain't right in the head. He better worship the very ground his parents walk on for their financial and moral support.
