All very interesting information. Saturday night, we were not in the tournament but went 2/5 and interstingly enough, all bites were 75-175ft. with the big bright moon? Size however was small, we had a 48 1/2 and a guestimated 24" (had no need to actually take it out of the water). Was pretty funny, I was pissed as I thought 1/2 the body was eaten by a mako but was indeed intact, cute lil thang! In last 8 trips, there has been only 1 skunk and have had some stealthy ones. I think the bite is better this summer to date but August will tell as that was a very successful month on size and quantity last year for me.Darren

A whole lotta bigguns being caught in the last week!!!!

I was simply saying evryone was saying that the summer was slow and august is slower. I have logs from last August that were pretty sick so I was saying the bite SHOULD be on. An anology of this was aweek ago while I was out, there was no bite and then I heard of somebody getting a flurry of bites so I started working the rods hard and bammm. Just a heads up?

NICK..............regardless of my feelings toward ya, NICE FISH the other night.

Chef Mitch........No response

Barry.........You da man

Good luck to you guys this weekend

For whatever reason in August, the fish seem to be chowing down as evidenced in nick/marauders fish the other night. Their bellies seem to be full of SQUID as opposed to all other times.

Once again, just a simple observation, nothing more.
Just trying to lift spirits and help
