Nick da Spit

So I go out with Nick's buddy Ryan last week, on his 31' Contender Reel Fast with Turtle, his father, and of course Mr. Cardella. We tried hard to put Father Turtle on a fish to no avail, however......

As we are putting out baits, Nick decides he will take a chunk out of a fiesty barjack's tail to slow that little chit down a bit. A quick search for scissors yielded nothing, so Nick decides he will take just take a bite out of the tail as his dear friend Johnny does

Next thing I know I look over and he is gagging and pieces of tail are getting spit out of his mouth in every direction. I guess he was upset by the taste

because he jumped up and goes over to the console and turns a water bottle upside down......only to find out........

It is Ryan's spit bottle for his chewing tobacco

He took quite a chug and a swallow before realizing. Needless to say he spent the rest of the night holding his stomach in the back of the boat

Holy chit I never laughed so hard. His new nickname is Nick da Spit.

i fish with ryan and i know he fills a spitter up pretty good. the funny thing is nick is out swordfishing right now and has no idea this is even on here!
