I bid $330.

Funny: All 80# class aluminum uni-butt rods with wind-on guides are light weight, right? If you want to kept them that way then you have to mount a 50 wide TLD or less, on them.

But if you mount an Aluminum frame 80 wide on there, they are no longer light weights and it still may be a nice rod for some of the fathers out there. But the Ladies are welcome to use it too, but wear flat heeled shoes.

Ssssh: don't tell the wifey. I am not supposed to be buying/"trying to obtain" any fishing tackle this month. Oh, but this is a Satellite tag donation/auction: " and ... I am trying to make a donation towards a Swordfish Satellite tag". Yeah Yeah that's the ticket. Ok I have it composed correctly now, I hope! So that is OK then. Just that this nice custom crafted rod from Islandshark goes to the highest PSAT tag donator, hah-hmm bidder.

Default The Highest bidder is ....

Gotcha ..... Hmmm, I am going to rest with my last bid. As it stands night now, it looks like Smouldering1, the firefighter may have won a new custom rod: built by a bottle-washer for a fire-washer. No wait: by fishermen for fishermen, that's the way it was supposed to sound.

Sounds like a good deal for a beautifully built custom rod with that Abalone shell in-lay (it is Abalone shell, right? ), plus a nice donation for PSAT tag funding.

Note: If by any chance that last bid of $375 falls through on final transaction, not that it will, but I will back up that bid as a counter offer but it must also include a BahamaLures Swordfish lure or a BL Red/Black Wahoo lure. That counter-offer stands until the end of the Swordfish 203 trip or September 15, 2007 which ever occurs first.

Alan, no matter what, I'll see you on that Saturday. Let's see if we can't get tight while trolling one of those lures on the 203! (Bring spares, as my lure bag has space for 3-4 more of your lures.)

Maybe somebody will simply bid higher before midnight tonight. Anybody ? Tick - tock - tick - tock
