Default Marine Forecast for Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef Out 20 NM

Mmmmh:

Was formulating plans to get out there Friday night, but before checking the weather. Looks like Wednesday or Thursday night "windows of opportunity" may be the best options. Friday and Saturday looks like it could be a bit Dodgy, at least based on the forecast. Is there anybody else heading out tomorrow or Thursday? If I cannot get my buddy (another Capt. Ed or Pirate Ron) to go, then you may hear/see me thumbing to "BOATJUMP" with another crew that is already committed to going out. Please advise "anybody" if you need a mate to help you get one in the boat.

So goes the words of NOAA - NWS. Just so long as you do not wind up like this wayward weekend warrior Capitan. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...letdummies.jpg or like this http://tinypic.com/1o0qdy A great effort at balancing that beverage though until it became a bit salty!

That is not SERINDIPITY ! Gee, I hope his navigational lights still work. You wouldn't want to get hit by a freighter at night unless you are just begging for a serious pummelling. Maybe even a keel-hauling. Arrgh. irat:

Hopefully, they made it through it alright. (If anyone wants to salvage some rods and tackle, Jupiter inlet is where it's at.) Rough Inlets can happen, even to highly experienced captains that choose to get out at that time, but ideally between sets.

Whereas this weekend could get a lit nasty it only seems prudent to go fishing tonight and or tomorrow.

Looks like we have gathered up a motley crew for tonight:

"the other Capt. Ed" - swordfishing virgin
Pirate Ron - swordfishing virgin, but very hungry
Yours Truly - RT - slightly experienced with the little fish < 200 lbs.
and Kevin K - lucky as hell and experienced with the big fish >200 lbs.

We have anticipations to slap a belt onto one of those newbies tonight, maybe more. But let's see how it goes.

We have all of the qualities for another "Stripes" adventure.

Risktaker-
You guys going on Kevin's fine yacht? I can't wait to get the report tomarrow about your adventures.

I'll be out on the south grounds tonight on my friend's Garrett Bay
" Bushwacker".

Looks like it will be a nice evening. Hope the swords will cooperate.

Default 1 if by land and 2 if by sea

3s to you good buddy:

10-4, but negatory on that for tonight's ride. Roll over C.W. McCall.

Are you going out of Stiltsville, Miami Harbor, southern port :?: ?

We may drop down to the ~55, so we shouldn't be too far away from you, unless you are talking further south. We're going in the fast bird, the 35 Phoenix with the turbo-diesels. And that bird can fly! Even more fun when it is calm. I think the only way it could be more fun would be to include a few cocktail waitresses into the motley mix, to serve us drinks. (Hope the wifey is not reading the post, sssh. :-$ )

We're reserving the Dusky 19 for a night when we really need it ! But Capt. Kevin K has the final word on that matter.

What is a boatjumper to do? I got it: jump boats but hang on to that beer, or pass the Midori, my dear.

I'm sure, once that water spritz is diagnosed and not getting whet under the covers, Dusky girl is a winner with me. Small boat = BIG fish. Some how need to be a little bit more dramatic than Lightining Stryker. Been to the Bahamas in a 20' footer so this is no problem, Mon.

Heading out of the port of Miami tonight. Not sure where we are going to do yet. Usually head down around 25-34, but we are considering starting up around 25-41 tonight.

Heading for the boat here shortly (baring any work issues)
