Default 1 FOR 2

We got out early and set up at 7. I went out with Joe Cascio owner of Joe's Riverside Grill in Pompano at the Sands Hotel. Also aboard was his good friend Nick. Joe and Nick had been out 2 times with no bites do to bad weather and lightning both times out. At 8:30 with no bites we decided to check our baits and from the looks of them they had all been messed with but none taken. As we brought in the last bait to check it a shadow flowed it up from the deep. It looked to be about a 30 pounder and he was just way to small to eat the bait. I rerigged with smaller squids and the first bait we dropped got a lite hit. The fish came right to the boat but pulled the hook with the leader in my hand. Rerigged that one and sent it back to depth. Joe just got it to 300 feet and set the ballon and 5 sec later the reel lite up. This was a better fish for sure. He gave us a great 20min battle. But Joe the master angler, kept nice light preasure, 8lbs of drag and played the fish perfectly. He came along boatside and I grabed the leader. Nick standing ready with the Harpoon hit him solid, I grabbed the bill and halled him in. Fish weight was around 90lbs. Great Fight and Great Fun.

Nice pic,
No matter how many I catch, I still get a rush looking at one.
