Sometimes I just don't want to run down to Ft. Lauderdale.
I have heard that there is an ok bite up here. I have gone 4-5 times up here and have had only a few bites, but have consitantly caught fish on the 49-51 line down south. Any ideas? |

I fish out of palm beach with a fellow captain, whenever he is booked for a sword trip. We spend most of our time from 1000 to 1300 feet off the coast. Usually the 49W line is where we start out drift and move deeper if necessary.. But I was up there 3 weeks ago and we went 2 for 8. They are there... I also know of a lot of guys out of stuart that do just as good as we do off fort lauderdale.
