Default Hms Permits

It Is My Understanding That All Permits Expire This Month On The 31st. Is This Correct? Mine Is In The Boat.

Correct. All Recreational 2006 HMS Permits will expire after 5/31/2007. Time to renew!

FYI: The price is now $28 bucks. And the active permit date has changed to June 1st 2007 to December 31st 2008.
My new 2007 Permit has an Exp. date of 12/31/2008!!!

I'm guessing they increased the price to $28 to cover the extra months it'll be active. If it was truly prorated for the extra time, the cost would be more like $33 or $34. But I'm glad they went to a calendar year instead a funky date like May 31.

Yeah, that seems like what they did. And I agree. I have enough on my mind without having to remember my permit's birthday too.

I just renewed. Thanks for posting this. With my luck I would have forgotten and landed a slob on June 1.

Tight lines.
