anyone know what the minimum kw you need to see birds on radar?

I think you want a 6kw at the minimum to see the birds. you may be able to get by with a 4kw, but 6 is better, IMO.

Honestly, you are dropping the money on 6kw(which you still won't see them any further than a mile or 2), drop a few more pennies and go with the 12. You'll be happy you did.
