Default Tonight

If this duplicates, I'm sorry. Just posted a thread and it didn't take, very wierd? Anyways, at the moment the ocean is flat calm and the nw weather seems to have stalled a bit thus making tonight a very doable event. My crews are otherwise engaged tonight so wondering if anyone wants to go or if you have an extra spot on your vessel, would be happy to bring anything needed!

Trolled out before sun up went out the the 80.01 and there was 3-5 NE swell took a couple over the bow trolled back in and it was nice in 100 feet Windy, rainy, and cool out; not a hit from PE to Hillsboro, back home by 11.

Good luck if you make it out there

Went out this morning. Seas 1-2 ft. inside of 400 ft. and 2-3 outside of that. The stream was about 2-4/3-5 at most. Wind wasn't howling at all...about 15 mph out of the NW and let off towards noon when the Kites sunk.

Definitely doable but I hate 'cool' weather, especially offshore at night with any wind. I'll take the night off and do it sometime this weekend.

Well, we came out to a perfectly flat ocean Should have gone east??? At about 10pm was very glad we did not head east. Literally, without warning winds go from 5-10 to 15-25 in a matter of 1 second (no warning, nada) It was as if a huge storm was rolling through only without the storm???
We did however have a spectacular night catching well over 100 lbs of yellow tails and a couple of stray fish which included 150-200# nurse shark I believe( it had whiskers). Great night !
