Default Charts

I just want you to know that the "new" charts from navionics have many missing loacl charts in the Bahamas. According to them they have lost their license for many of the local Bahamas charts and they don't know when they will actually be updated. As crazy as this is if you look at many of their new charts at the most zoomed in level many, many charts are not there even though they still show the chart outline on the larger scale chart of the area.
During the Miami boat show a few weeks back I was trying to explain to the reps at their booth the problem I was having with a chart bought in June of last year and they didn't understand or have any answers, until I started to look at one of their "newest" charts they had on display and to their dismay nothing was fixed! The new charts still had many missing local charts!

So what I am saying is try to find a used chart from 2004 or later, your plotter will not see many of the newer features anyway.

Good luck!
