Default Offshore Current and Temps

I've been looking for a map of currents and temperature offshore.

Can anyone lead me to the right place?

Thanks,

Jr.

Terrafin Software - Index I think the subscription is $100 year. They also have a product which shows chlorophyll concentrations.....which in many ways is more useful given that the gulfstream makes temps and current fairly uniform on the 50 line.

WOW! Fishbase is amazing. Do you know if the logging systems are a one time payment or per time period?

Thank you very much!

Jr.,

Terrafin's $100 a year service suck azz. It would be awesome, if you could ever get a clear reading on either the surface temps or the chlorophyll levels but you will almost NEVER get an accurate reading. Like I said, it would be sick because it lets you drag your mouse on the map and get corresponding waypoints as you drag the mouse. I am subscribed, if you would like to check it out feel free. I am in Colorado skiing right now, but I will shoot you my password when I get home so you can check it out. It was the biggest waste of money I ever spent, that being said, I will probably spend the money to get it again just because sometime on a perfect day with not a cloud in the sky and through the miracles of Allah/God/Buddah or whoever it is you pray, it does give you a reasonable inference of where the breaks are. Your most accurate index as to where to find a temp break unless you personally go out there or purchase Roffers for $$$$ is NOAA's daily report on how far out the Gulf Stream is. Can you believe that, I just said NOAA and accurate in the same sentence.

Free SST Maps - GPS Numbers - Offshore Fishing Locations

These are for north carolina, but you can pan down the map to our region and actually point and click temps, measure distance, and see coordinates.

Or

SST is pretty good, like he said you can move your cursor to any point and it will give you gps coordinates. The only problem is it updates slowly, but a good hard edge is pretty close the next a.m. from the last update.

The thing I liked about Terafin is the fishbase logging system.
