Default WOW! Daytime 400+ lber (possibly) caught. Catch 22, Richard Stanczyk!

Well the crew is returning as I speak here with a 400+ lb swordfish they caught in the daytime!!!! I am driving down to the marina now and will post pictures and the actual weight once we hang the S.O.B!!!!

I probably have the smallest boat in the fleet .. so daytime is more appealing during the day ... have on reel loaded up with 1500yds of braid ready to try ...hummm deep dropping for swords

Good luck either way. I would love to give it a go during the day. Always up for something new. Are they using only electric or manual for the daytime sword-dropping? Which are you using?

I do it the hard way manual... I`m so used to doing it ...I dont even fish in close on the reefs any more ... I drop anywhere from 380 to 1100 ft ..

it is in a way more gratifying .. trying to get a big golden tile .. got 1 month left to try to win the deep drop contest for the heavyest tile .... that`s why I have been going deeper then I normaly drop .. arm is sore for a day ... but when you catch dinner it is well worth it

Well the scale at Bud N' Mary's broke at 430 lbs so they just weighed the truck with the fish at the weigh station and there gonna measure the truck empty later on!!! Should get the pics off the card tommorrow
