Default Looking for help finding an engineering job

I am graduating in may of this year with my B.S. in Ocean Engineering. In preparation I am trying to find employment for after I graduate.
Ideally i would like to find a job that deals with maned and un-maned underwater vehicles.
Does any one know of anyone who may have a connection, or know of a relative company? I am not asking for a recommendation, but i wont fight you if you want to give one )

I tried to attach my resume and cover letter but the file is too large. Please feel free to contact me to share any relative help full information.

You may want to check with Harbor Branch in Ft Pierce and talk to John Reed.
He's been researching deepwater corals for 31 years using submersibles. Funding has been a problem for them, so pay probably isn't that great.
Another possibility would be Perry Submersibles in Riviera Beach. Heck .... send 'em a resume ... you never know.

Jason,
The oilfields of the gulf of mexico are looking for your kind of skills. They pay big but you work all the time. Good luck.

thanks gator. i applied to perry slingsby last night actually

is that the perry that your talking about right??

also i applied to Lockheed martin and i spoke with the head honcho guy. he sounded like he wants to hire me but has a delima because he already made offers to past interns and he is pretty sure that they are going to accept. BUT being the nice guy that he is he said that he would send my resume to there division in Massachusetts and that they would be very interested, most likely, in hiring me the only problem is that i would freeze into a solid structure the moment that i got up there but once in the company it is easy to transfer around in it supposedly.

any more suggestions are welcomed

Good luck Jason.

Just got to get that first one then you are infinately more valuable.
If I knew any engineers who could use your skills I would reccomend you but all my engineers are MEP and structural.

(2) companies come to mind from my oil rig days.
Oceaneering.
Taylor Diving.

Hope that helps.
