Dan... don't forget that the moon rises about 20 minutes earlier on the 50-line than on the coast (where the times usually refer to).

We braved it last night in 5-7's. Called it an early night at 9:30pm before the moon rise at 10:00 The stream was pushing through pretty good even with the 15-20 NE winds. We never got the bite.
