Default Any Problem with this Copper Wire?

Friend was using it for a Science Fair Project and was done with it so he let me have it. Can I use it in place of Telephone wire and for rigging Ballyhoo? It seems to slip less than telephone wire so then I get to keep my weights more often . It is the same as rigging wire, but green right?

Thanks.

Its terrible, I think you should send it for me to use .
Seriously, thats all we use for rigging ballyhoo. the underlying wires are plastic coated so they last allot longer than the bare copper junk that they sell in the shops. Looks like you got enough to supply the whole sailfish fleet with rigging wire.

I am assuming that you mean the roll of white plastic coated wire on the bottom, not the roll of what looks like green mono.

No, it is the green. Looks like mono, but it is copper wire.

PJ,

The rigging wire without plastic coating will cut through your rubber bands/waxloops on both ends (weight and balloon) whenever it is rough. You will never have that problem with phone wire.......plus when you go to pull the weight off, the riggin wire tends to knot instead of just pulling free, which is probabl why you arent losing weights. If you want to keep your weights, put them on longline clip

I see your scheme of making $13.89 off of me

Thanks for the replies guys, I guess I will just use it on my Ballyhoo rigs and stay with phone wire on the Swording tackle.

Thanks
