Default New Blue Swordlight

I have been getting a lot of you guys asking when the new Blue shorty Swordlight will be available.

We found out that they will be available late this week so we will start taking pre orders for them.

They will be $189 and there is only a limited number (25) that will be available until the next shipment.

Swordlight - Saltwater Fishing Tackle

Or just send me an email if you want to pay with a cash/check.

-Tek

I have heard VERY good things about this light! I would jump on one if you do not have or need to upgrade lights!

If light doesn't matter, what does it matter if the light is blue, green, red, purple, etc.

Carben that's some funny stuff!

I am confused, back in the day everyone thought i was crazy for using a BLUE light (Hydroglow/swordlight), now everyone wants one, I thought green was the only way to go

Wait till you guys see the light I am building. I just ordered a 10' section of 4"
Clear Schedule 40 pvc.....4 bulbs and two ballasts. I got blue, green, blacklight, and purple, 2' bulbs.......and lead shot to wait it. It will be just like the one I made for Uncle Buck and some others on the FS Forum, only the mak daddy version

I am probably going to need two batteries but this bitch is gonna be nasty. We were talking about putting cross sections of mirron in between the bulbs to direct all the light outward......but that shit will probably just break.

If anybody wants to purchase the leftover Schedule 40 let me know cus that shits expensive.

My favorite swordlight is the green one. I never had much luck with the blue hydroglow so maybe that's why. I heard the new swordlight kicks out quite a glow though.

Darryn/Chris you guys are hilarous

QQ,

Not selling them, just making a light for myself since I dont have one and it is the cheaper way to go. I still had some extra stuff laying around from back in the day so I decided to put it to good use. I was searching on the internet for some sort of plastic mirror insert but havent found sheeting yet. The difficulty will be getting it to stay down with all the air volume in it, its going to need alot of weight and most likely two seperate cords. I put styrafoam on the bottom as a shock absorber, and then cut a perfect circle with a hole saw to wedge in their and keep the bulbs seperate from each other. The swordfishing lights all break when the bulb touches the clear tubing or anything for that matter. That is why Swordlights are the best product hands down. They have a smaller diameter bulb so when it is dropped there is less possibility that the bulb touch each other or the clear tubing.

Ideally, if one were to build the ultimate light it would be made out of glass. As a material, glass allows a signifigantly greater amount of light(lumens I believe they are called) to pass through it than the plastic that are used today. Even more ideally, would be a glass tube that is distorted. In other words, if instead of a cylindrical tube shape, it was all "triangular mountains" so to speak, the light would be focused and spread much further, but not as uniform. I have scene other homemade versions of a light like this.

Anyways, Ill post a pic in a couple of weeks (after my 15 pg memo to the court ).
