Default Fishing All Bent Butts

Would there be any problems fishing with all bent butts? I know they work perfect for tip rods. I like the angle of the straight butts for the balloon rods, but I just don't like the straight butts. I have two bent butts right now on two of my rods, but I want to get two more bents for my other two reels.

The only problem I could see is that since the line angle is lower to the water you could get the balloons tangled together if your not careful. Is there anything else that would happen? Not only are they more comfortable in the harness, I really like fishing out of the rod holder. Thanks for the help guys.

i fish all bent butts, i love em. Like you said, they are perfect for tip rods, you cant get a better set up. As for the balloon rods i try to point mine out towards the bait at the 90 degree angle. that way there is some give in the rod when a fish hits, so its not a straight on pull. this works out naturally though becasue the tip rod baits always pull parallel to the boat so i just point em out to whichever side the balloons are pointed too. I dont see anything wrong with fishin all bent butts, there are much more advanatages than disadvantages

What he said.
PJ, stick with one straight for you're long jug rod. I'm going 3 bent and one straight.

Butt yes, you can fish all bent butts, I just like that long jug at a hight angle that's all. On your new Cpntender, put a couple straight up and down holders... those are money.

It helps to hang a line in a rigger to keep it up off the water. I fish 4 bent butts witout a problem on a 32'.
