Hydroglow question

hi guys

Im flying home today, and i purchased a hydroglow 4ft. Has anyone tried carry the light on, then gate check it? Im kida nervous about checking the light in and the bag handlers destroying it.

A second question, what is the outer shell of the hydroglow made of? Is it lexan?

Not sure what the outer shell is made of but the inner shell of the case is made of some pretty strong pvc. I have put my hydroglow through hell in its case and I have never had a problem with its performance.
PS...I fished with a buddy who had a green magnet (?) ar something like that and that light SUCKED! You will be totally happy with your 'glow. I know I am.

ok well i got her home safe and sound. TSA never gave it a 2nd look, although they took the batts out of my spotlight

I was able to carry it on American Eagle and put it in the over head bin.

on a secondary thought, i bought a 6 million candle power hand held spot light from Bass Pro and that thing is nuts,makes my ACR look like a flashlight, good thing i didint buy the 16 million candle :twisted: :twisted:
