Default Anyone have a Tiagra 50W they want to sell or trade

I'm w Beerm,an on the fact that I like to punish anglers & myself w stand upgear for swords. The whole "mano Y mano" where we strap in & go toe to toe is truly what does it for me.
(OK watching a lit up 200lb sword eat a tinker or squid 2' away is pretty good too)

Anyway, I had someone that wanted my pair of International 80's yesterday, but I talked him out of it. He told me 100% he did NOT want to fight fish from holder, and truth is neither do I.

That being said, I am looking for a deal on a another Tiagra 50W, combo and would consider trade for International 80 Loaded w Momoi Diamond.

Intenational 80 in very good condition & have 80+++lb custom Star Rod w long aftco bent butt & oversize rollers etc..

Ideally a clean swap, you get HEAVY 80lb + combo & I get another stand up outfit for arsenal.

Zack, they are NOT W's (straight up International 80's).
Would hook you or a brother up if I could.

E,
Just get short butts for your rods, and butt harness, which I think you have right, and you will love those 80's again.

These rods are probably too long (7') for comfortable stand up, but good from the chair (on big boats etc.) as they can reach around the corner.

If I can find short curved butts, just may give the 80's a go on stand up.

E, I and Jr. Angler have faught fish standup on Johnnies 80's... with the thigh plate and afco harness, I have no problems. Hell, i've watched Zack fight fish on the 80 with no belt of harness(although the fish weighed about the same as the rod and reel lol)

I have 2 extra 80lb aftco butts too (straight.)

Love to get my hands on 2 80lb short curved butts.

Eric, I would be interested in that rod, and I have a pile of 50-80# class standup Star swordfish rods that are not being used....

Tom L, what's up.
Is this the "other" Tom out of Harbor Town?
Barter is great, if 80lb stand up rod is short butt (preferably curved) I can wind up with a 80lb stand up combo & you get a "meat stick".

Hey Tom, Greg's rig looked SWEET Sat eve w 8 Tiagra 80W's.
If we can swap my 'Broomstick' 80/130 for stout short rod I can hang 80 on, it's all good.

After talking to folks w more experience than I, I am definitely leaning towards getting a couple 80'lb stand up outfits now.

I mean this week alone we have heard enough stories of 300++lb fish to warrant smore heat.
