Default Palm Beach weather

Can anyone tell me what the wind is doing in West Palm right now? NOAA is calling for 2-3 foot seas tonite, but it is blowing pretty good up here in Vero. Trying to decide if we should make the trek south. Thanks.

It is not real bad, but it is WEST at about 10 MPH.
If you ask me, I might wait for it to swing around, but that's me.

(we fished last nite of WPB & it was dead slow)

For your area, buoyweather is showing 2.3ft @ 4 seconds with 9kt S winds at 6pm... then 2ft @ 10 seconds and 13kt WSW winds at midnight.

Uncle Buck, we are planning on heading south and leave out of palm beach. The morning update said 5-10 from the west, but when I checked the buoy it was 17 gusting to 20 from the northwest. I guess there are no windows in the noaa office or something. Thanks for the info though. We will probably give it a shot anyway.

Those wind speeds were up in canaveral. The idea was just to show the discrepancy between the forecast and the actual weather. No F ing way we are going out in that crap. Going to head south were the weather is better, and if not, we'll go have beers somewhere.

That forecast was for 27.10n 79.46w, which is roughly the sword grounds off North Palm Beach. The winds and conditions out there are often different from those on shore. By the numbers, it should be an okay night on the water. Buoyweather has been wrong occasionally, but not too far off. So use your own judgement. Good luck!

The forecast for Friday nite is calling East wind 5-10 knots, seas 2-3 ft. You may want to wait for Friday night if you can. West winds are for diving, east winds are for fishing.
We will be trying to pick a fight right out front off Ft.Pierce/Vero Friday night if the forecast holds.
Good luck if you go tonight. That is a lot of prep and hastle for a shaky forecast.

We went thursday night. Blown trailer tire on the road, no spare, so we were a little late. First line in at 9:15 and it gets hit right away. Never came tight. Only bite of the night, the weather was great.
