Default 50-Line Forecast: Southeast FL, Sept. 25th-29th

50-line forecast for the Lighthouse Point area.

As of Friday, September 29th, 3:10pm
Tonight looks okay with a nice long wave period, but I'm not sure what that bit of ENE wind will do to the chop. Saturday's forecast looks about the same. Go get 'em... and REPORT YOUR CATCH!

This graph was derived from http://www.BuoyWeather.com

My boat is out Saturday night...it's not too bad with a sea anchor. But then again, I have done that night a hundred times already.

Did anyone head out Monday night? If so, how were the seas? I'd like to compare your observations with the data on the BuoyWeather graph. Thanks! -->UB

Typical, the night of the meeting(Wed.), it will be flat on the 50. That will put a dent in the Rec. guys attendance.

Not sure. Forecasts beyond 3-4 days are rarely accurate. I hope it settles for next weekend's tournaments.

UB

I'm going to head out next weekend sat-sun for a full night out of port everglades. Let me know if you want in. I would love to have someone with some experience out there on my boat for the first run.

Thanks for the offer, but I (along with many others here) will be fishing the S.A.I.L. Club/Hydroglow Tournament Saturday night, Oct. 7th. Weather permitting.

But keep me in mind for future trips. :thumleft:

Last night was predicted to be 1-2 on those graphs with a little ENE to NE wind...

Ended up being N at 15 and 3-5/4-6 with a rare 7 ft. rogue.

Just be careful because I'm sure it's still rough out there and all the weather folks are WRONG WRONG WRONG....
