Default Lost Power

I found an alternative use for lp electralumes last night. We lost power at the marina in Venice so the cabin was pitch black until I broke out a disco, tricolor, and green electralume. Hung one in the bathroom and two in the kitchen area and we lit up the cabin quite nicely. I think I will add them to my hurricane list as necesary equipment to light up a house. Kinda makes you feel like your at a club with a hanging disco light.

Love the idea. Bring your battery and hydroglow to the game room and shoot some pool!

CaptEddie,

What an awesome idea!!! Next hurricane I will have my LED's serving double duty lighting the house until I can get the generators up and running. Very ingenious!

We used l.p. lights durring the last few hurricanes. We clipped the long line clips on all the fan pull cords in the house. Worked awesome, it's amazing how long the batteries last in those things.

FYI... a white LP thrown in a cooler helps you grab the correct... um... beverage flavor at night.
