Default Can someone please explain the permit specifications?

I've been tring to find out if one the permit is required for rec. anglers and if there is a cost, and if there is how much is it and how long does it take before the permit will be valid so I can go kill one myself. Also how has the sword bite been as far as depths and are they hitting squid better then bluerunners, tinkers, and rainbow runners? I just purchased some argentina squid and dyed 4 red 4 green and left 4 natural, does anyone have input on the color difference or any tips for your boy?
thanks keep up the great reports and keep putting slobs in de boooaat!

Go to the NMFS website and find the permits section. It costs $22 and you can print it out yourself right there on the spot and its valid instantly. I would suggest laminating it and leaving it on the boat at all times. Now if only the weather would cooperate go east and get those baits in the water in at least 1200Ft.
