Default Contest... Purple Electralume catches it's first fish....

Got the call this morning that a fat 55 incher was boated on the Purple Electralume last night. If the picture is produced... he will be the winner of a Free Purple Electralume.

For those of you fishing the Purple lights... please take a picture showing the purple light with the Swordfish and the LJF. Another Electralume will be given away to the crew that catches the biggest fish on the Purple light (purchased from Reel Pro Shop). Contest to end at the end of this month.

Tie will be broken by time/date caught.

-Tek

Radar

We are thinking as well. Would love to get out but there's some nasty stuff out there. Hopefully we'll be okay.

I think I could have caught them on hot dogs with a purple light last night if I would have had mine. The bite was ridiculous for us. Crew was demanding to go so I caved in and we headed out. Didn't get the first of the gear in the water till 10. Started on the 50 just south of Hallandale. We were on the meat pretty much all night. Nothing big but all the fish were nice n thick.

post a picture... got the biggest fish by the end of the month and get a free Purple light!

Keep in mind that Purple works best in the sping and Fall and in case you are not up on current events.... IT'S NOW FALL!

Ollie.... the 55incher was THICK I'm told. How many did you catch?

Tek... the first 2 hits we got Saturday night were on the purples. One had an artificial squid down at 250' and the other was a natural squid on the 150' balloon. The 2nd one was hooked up for about a minute, but pulled the hook. Saw the purple light streaking across the water.

The 56" we landed later that night was on a disco on the way down.

we lost a very nice fish on sunday night with the purple light special.

Fish grabbed the bait as i was letting it down and came to the surface and jumped about 5 feet out of the water.. did one quick run and gave us the hook back. Fish was definetly over 200lbs.

Long time lurker here .. finally joined

well be trying agian friday night weather permitting.

Fished with Buck on Sat night. He left out the part of having another boat set up just outside of us close enough you could see the guys in the boat  Told a friend a half mile away to look at the guy that set up on us.They said we should ask them to check the far balloon bait They came on the radio and said something.I tried to raise them back but they were to close for there radio to work  We set there for another 45 min then ran back out to set up again.Hooked up while putting the spread back out.We ran past them on the way in and I wanted to stop and show them our fish
