Default Sword fishing out of Boynton Beach (FL) Inlet

Does anyone have any information on fishing out of the Boynton Inlet from Deerfield Beach to the south to north Palm Beach? The long run down to north Miami burns a lot of fuel. There doesn't seem to be favorable topography off Boynton and Delray Beaches, but I'd like to hear from anyone who has successfully fished the area.
Thanks for helping a rookie!

We fish out of Boynton all the time.what boat are you on?You can run south to 26,10 or 15 to start your drift if you do not want to go way south. The 10 or 15 Will put you off Boyn at the end of the night.Great fishing off Hills and Boca. You can run a little to the North to start your drift but it makes for a long run home.

Not much topography between Boca and LWI. But no need to head all the way down to Miami. Furthest south I've been swording is Port Everglades. Drift up to Boca by the end of the night. Have also started off Hillsboro and headed in Boynton when we were off Delray.

After you go the first time you can judge based on current strengths where you should setup in order to end up right off of the inlet when you want to head in (not saying it is the best thing to do though, just an idea)

Thanks for the help. I'm on a 31 SeaVee and I think I hooked on the late night scene.

I just consulted my magic 8-ball... as of Tuesday morning, the forecast looks good for Friday. 1ft seas with an 8kt SSE breeze. That's still 4 days away, so it may change... but for now I'd go ahead with your plans! Good luck.

I know I should I got my Dad more into it last night. I figured it would be a great opportunity to meet everyone and get a good taste of the tournament scene. He's all for it so I think we may try to get in.

Do you have any idea on how many boats will be in it ??
