Default Headed back to Sword Grounds

After a successful season in the Bahamas I will be headed back down to Lauderdale Aug 2-7 for a shot at some swordies. I fished and worked for almost a month over in Marsh Harbour and Green Turtle Cay on my boat and for a captain on a 48' Viking. Only really fished about 8 days, had to do a lot of work and entertaining.

Did manage to land a blue marlin two days in a row on two different boats up in Green Turtle. Caught my first big blue the first day and leadered my first big blue the next day. Each fish was around 250lbs. Caught tons of mahi and some smaller YFT. Had to run 40-60 to find the tuna, and they were still small and finicky. The only boats i saw with any mooses (40-70lbs) were running 60 miles. The current was actually flowing south over there this year...very strange.

Anyways, I'll try to post some of those bahamas pictures sometime. Will be fishing out of Lauderdale Inlet- so wheres the bite at these days??
